The
German government's European Union summit at the end of June, will
propose that the date of negotiations with Serbia for EU membership
depends exclusively on the progress of the implementation of the
Brussels agreement.
This attitude of Germany, according to Serbian agency Beta, will be
disclosed representative of the Government of Serbia, Susanna Grubjesic,
which is in charge of European integration issues when it meets in
Berlin tomorrow with representatives of the German parliament and with
officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federal Government.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, on the eve of the meeting of members at
which the CDU did not attend last week he has justified its stance
deputies.
Merkel feels obliged not to withdraw from its position in August 2011,
when the case had said his visit to Belgrade that Serbia could start EU
accession negotiations until agreement is reached on the dissolution of
parallel structures in north.
But now there is this agreement by conservative deputies in the
Bundestag, the problem lies in the fact that it is not being implemented
in its main parts, dealing with the dismantling of parallel judicial
and police, local elections and other issues.
According to the EU summit will determine the specific date for the
start of negotiations with Serbia to the EU in 2014, after verifying
successful implementation of the Brussels agreement between Kosovo and
Serbia.
